I am an economist currently working in the Department of Food, Agricultural, and Resource Economics at the University of Guelph. I am broadly interested in Organizational Economics, Experimental Economics, and Agricultural Economics.

I received a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University where I specialized in Contract Theory, Experimental Economics, and Computational Science. I have an M.S. in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota, and an undergraduate degree in Economics from the Universidad de Guadalajara. Before joining U of G, I worked as a Senior Economist for the Central Bank of Mexico.
